A Few More Projects to Check off the List!

I have been quiet busy, trying to wade myself thru the projects that are running thru my head. The more time I spend with my photos the busier my brain gets. (Who knew?) lol
I've knocked off some current things, i.e., this $1 book from Target that Lana gave me when I helped her clean out her scrapbook stuff and helped her organize her stuff and projects (as if the pregnant mother of a 21 month old is going to find time to scrap in the next 10 years, hahaha...I have hopes for her!) Anywho...I used this book to make a keepsake for Lance to have from his and Vince's snowboarding trip that he took in February with John & Phil to SLC to Lucky's place. I hope he enjoys it. I really enjoyed making it for him.
I also did this page tonight from last years birthday...It is very rare that I complete a "stand alone" photo page, and here I have done 2 this month!
Have a happy, healthy week...

The Chicken Dance...

Here is the opposite side for the layout. I keep learning the hard way that I need to think thru both sides of a layout BEFORE I start cutting. You would think I would get this eventually!!
Happy Easter!

Precious, so very, very precious...

This is the left half of a l/o spread from my trip to Lana's to help her repaint Emma's new dresser.

Happy crafting...

The rest of the Train trip...

I finally finished the other 3 pages for the 2 - 2 page layouts. Struggled with combining the purple page (cowgirls) to lay next to the page with Vince's red shirt, the compromise was the pink, burgundy, red combo. I used alot of new techniques in these 4 pages and I am fairly pleased with the end result.

Lots of photos, tonz of ideas, can't wait to get at them....not enough hours in any given day!

My Cowgirls!

This was taken on March 20th, 09 during a trip we took on the Grapevine Railroad from Grapevine, Tx to Ft. Worth, Tx. It was a wonderful day and Emma was a true trooper!

Enjoyed doing this page using "grungeboard & lace" (I think there is a song in there somewhere? lol) what a wonderful "western" combo!

Have a happy, healthy day!

oFf ThE PagE♥

Had a fun weekend playing off the pages of scrapbooking and dabbled in alittle "altered" crafting.
Yesterday I went to a workshop hosted by a Stampin up distributor where we created the frame. Everyone's was so unique and highly reflective of what each individual "loved".
The paper mache box I purchased a while back ($2) and am using it for storage for my chipboard alpha pieces. Friday, I found in the bottom of a craft drawer, a package of ten seconds copper 36g. No telling how long ago this was purchased...I've been wanting to play with metal for a long time (at least 10 years). Fear has always kept me at bay, this weekend I decided to play. oh what fun! Now, either I find something new to keep my alpha pieces in, or I've just converted to decorated storage???
