This was super fun! (even tho I've had enough pink for awhile)
If you are interested my Challenge #3 is on my you tube channel. I've tried all day long to figure out how to put it on here, I can't figure it out :o(

March @ the Beach - Challenge #2

Squeeze into your Acid Wash Jeans---good thing she didn't mean for real (LMAO)

It was a stamp with bleach challenge...
I decided to make a St. Pat's Card, and besides clovers, Irish to me, is Paisley (maybe its the golf thing...can't explain it!). This will be an easy card to stick in the mail tomorrow for the FIL.

March @ the Beach - Challenge #1

Rainbow Brite (& Big Tex, too)

This is my entry for the March beach Challenge #1, the challenge was to use the color spectrum of the rainbow, it didn't say we had to use colored paper so I played with my watercolor pencils. Then to add a little "bright" I added some distressed stickles. We had a choice of neutrals with guidelines and I chose the cream/kraft/brown combo.

Thanks Kathryn this was fun! (But, I have determined it's virtually impossible for me to crop and chat at the same time!!)

Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to work on #2!

More Bookmarks!

These are two bookmarks that I gave away last weekend for girlfriends that I have met at the beach that live in the DFW area.

Never lose another bookmark!

I've had extremes of moods and attitude in the last week and as I look back on the items that I've created it's definitely reflected.

More about the "journal" (term used loosely here):
Still playing (a.k.a. layering) this time I got out my Watercolor Pencils. I forgot how much fun those pencils are to play with, I worked pressure, I have more to learn, but it was tonz of fun!
Really, isn't fun the goal with any hobby?? I'm embracing that's my goal, sometimes I get caught up in "is it good enough?". I have decided it's good enough for me! If not it's going in the trash...and I'm okay with that too.

Thanks for stopping by & Enjoy your weekend,
~Jill
