Calvinball cards #1-#4

Cards are awarded 1/2 point for #Calvinball2016 I am in need of a birthday card this weekend for my stepmoms 70th birthday.  While I had the card stuff out I threw together 3 Easter cards, I need to make a few more of those.  I found some St. Patrick's confetti (in my stash) and I would like to make a few cards to prank a couple of friends with the confetti.  So for today, so far I've done 4 cards, hopefully I will be able to work on a layout this evening.

Calvinball #4 & #5 July 4 2014 Fireworks & Mimi's Kids

I have a Americana 12 x 12 envelope that I've had for years and years, in it is everything that I've ever owned in that category.  I had these photos from 4th of July in Pflugerville 2014 that I wanted to get into the book.  Sorry for the sticker sneeze, and stickle explosion, but hey I figured if I hadn't used them up in the last 10 years what was I saving them for??

During the same 4th of July trip I was able to actually be in a series of photos with the grandbabies.  A very rare occurrence, I wanted to get it documented. I used Carta Bella, Soak up the sun collection. Of which I have discovered I have double, I'm going to be sick of it by the time I'm done.

Hope everyone is having as much fun as I am playing along with Calvinball.  I'm having a terrible time with the gallery at Get It Scrapped, I'm thinking of no longer posting there and just use my blog. I sorta feel bad about it though because the comments and knowing someone is seeing my pages is really a nice part of the community over there.  I'll think about it....

Calvinball layout #3. JT's Week

Another layout for #Calvinball2016. I put this layout together for my grandson Jt's book, it's a brief collection of highlights from his first "solo" week long visit to our house here in Frisco, Texas.  I used Echo Park, "That's my BOY" by Lori Whitlock. I've had leftover pieces of the collection in my stash for awhile, it's fun to get reacquainted and play.
I picked up 165 photos from Sam's Club on Monday, all from 2014.  I haven't scrapped much since the beginning of 2014 other than a few banners and cards. I'm hoping to put a dent in telling the stories I want to record, especially in the grand kids books.

I'm going to try and leave a link here for anyone who is interested, this is where I'm playing with the folks at Get It Scrapped for #Calvinball2016  not even sure if that is the correct hashtag, but hey, this tech challenged grandma is trying!!  (Give me props for that!)

Another layout done for #CalvinBall2016.  These pictures are from Easter 2014, Blake had been walking for a very short while when he participated in his first Easter Egg Hunt.  The annual Turner family Easter weekend picnic was held on April 19, 2014 at Celebration Park.  The papers used were all from my "green" stash drawer...that felt good to use some of that pile!
I'm trying to post pictures of my layouts on the Get it Scrapped website gallery.  I'm completely techy challenged, the re-sizing thing, the it's upside down thing, the I don't know what I'm doing thing....
