Mariposa Mini Book

This past week I met some friends from the area in the fabric district of Dallas, we got together early because one of the girls had to be at work in the afternoon.
One of the things I scored was some trim beads in the color of "Kiwi" they are a great neutral color. I also found some fun trim that had the rose/oranges that I needed to work on this mini using the Mariposa paper from DCWV.
The butterflies on this cover were made using a technique that I learned from Yolanda a you tube friend, who is such a wealth of inspiration and education, she introduced me to the use of Triple Thick by Americana and moldable embellishments, needless to say, I'm having fun playing.
I need to get this mini finished quick, last week during the Thursday chat I won a complete Teresa Collins Welcome Home Kit from Kathryn at Life on the {scrap} beach (it was delivered today!!), there is a link on the side of my blog if you would like to come play. I would love to see you there... ♥
Thanks for stopping by, have a happy scrappy week!
